This UFO release is about fonts, not flying saucers

A package update on PyPI called ufo-tdkit-tools has nothing to do with aliens and everything to do with typeface hinting.

Let’s grade the evidence. The claim: UFO. The reality: Unified Font Object, a font-source format; this is a toolkit for PS hints extraction and compilation, version 0.4.4. No flight paths. No radar returns. No whistleblowers.

The only mystery here is why anyone searching UAP news lands on a changelog for font preservation modes. That’s a search-engine glitch, not a cover-up; the acronym did the heavy lifting, not little green men.

Verdict: zero percent paranormal, one hundred percent typography admin. File under ‘coincidental initialism,’ not ‘disclosure.’ Next.
