UFO in this release means fonts, not flying saucers

A PyPI package update about font hinting gets filed under our beat purely on acronym collision.

Let’s be blunt. UFO here stands for Unified Font Object, a font-source format; it has nothing to do with tic-tacs over Nevada.

ufo-tdkit-tools 0.2.0 adds PostScript hints extraction, some optimisation passes, and a preserve-mode compiler. That’s it. No radar logs, no pilot testimony, no redacted Pentagon memo.

We include it because our search alerts are dumb and the internet is full of noise. Rated: not a sighting.
