A screenwriting hire is being sold as vindication; it’s a book option, nothing more.
Dan Farah has bought TV rights to Jay Stratton’s unpublished memoir, Out of the Shadows, and hired a Sopranos alum to write it. That is the entire news. Nothing here comes from a hearing, a document, or a sensor.
Stratton did run the Pentagon’s UAP Task Force office; his title is real, his access is real. His memoir’s contents remain unverified until publication; no manuscript excerpts or corroborating records have surfaced. A production deal confirms interest in a story, not the truth of it.
Grade: B for provenance, since he’s a genuine former official; F for evidentiary weight, since there’s nothing new to weigh. Hollywood optioning a book is marketing, not disclosure. Expect a prestige drama, not a UFO.
