Fukushima’s alien invasion is a shopping street Halloween

A PR Times release from a local revitalisation committee dresses up a Halloween street party as an alien landing, and nothing more.

Strip the headline and you get a press release from the Iino street revitalisation committee in Fukushima City, promoting a Halloween event with a UFO theme. Costumes, decorations, a target date in late October; that’s the content.

No radar track. No witness statement. No flight data. The only thing that’s landed is footfall for local shops, which is the actual point of the exercise.
