UAP watch ยท Punto de Break
A Spanish tennis outlet calls a straight-sets win extraterrestrial; the sighting is entirely metaphorical.
Carlos Alcaraz beat Tommy Paul at the US Open. That’s the whole event. Punto de Break’s headline writer reached for ‘an extraterrestrial lands in New York’ as a compliment about serve speed, not a report of a craft, a body, or a blip on radar.
Grade this on the UAP evidence scale and it scores nothing; there’s no sensor data, no witness, no case number. It’s sports copy borrowing sci-fi flavour, the same trick sub-editors have used since Sputnik.
We log it anyway because search engines don’t know the difference between a metaphor and a monolith. Somewhere a scraper will file ‘alien lands New York’ as a sighting. It won’t be one.
