Abduction researcher’s 700 cases confirm his own prior beliefs

A Christian UFO investigator says three decades of alleged abduction reports strengthened his faith; the sample and the framing deserve more scrutiny than that.

Joe Jordan, who runs the CE4 Research Group, says he has looked into roughly 700 abduction claims since the 1990s. His finding: callers who invoked the name of Jesus during an encounter reported the experience stopping. He reads this as evidence against a purely secular UFO explanation and for the existence of God.

Here is the grading. Sample: self-selected, gathered through a hotline advertised mainly to a Christian audience already primed to read fear as demonic. Controls: none. Independent verification: none. This is testimony, not data.

The outlet treats a researcher’s anecdote as proof of two very different claims, aliens and God, that need very different evidence. Sleep paralysis, suggestion and pre-existing belief are not ruled out. Uncertainty remains total; treat the headline accordingly.
