Ring-shaped drone was Russian, not alien

A circular-wing strike drone spooked online spotters before Ukrainian troops confirmed it was just hardware.

Ukraine’s Birds of Magyar Brigade downed a Russian KVS drone with an odd ring-shaped wing; the silhouette set off a flurry of UFO chatter before soldiers checked the wreckage and filed it as a known strike platform.

This is not a mystery. The design likely trades conventional lift for a smaller radar cross-section or cheaper manufacture; without the full spec sheet that’s a guess, not a verdict.

TechRadar’s headline leans on the UFO tease, but the actual record is a confirmed kill of a confirmed drone. No sensor ambiguity, no tracking gap, no unexplained flight path; just an unfamiliar shape doing a familiar job.
