Flying saucer house is fibreglass, not physics

A 1968 prefab oddity gets the tabloid treatment as if it fell from orbit.

The Donaldson Futuro is a 1968 Matti Suuronen design; only around a hundred were built, and its disc shape earned the nickname, not any brush with the unidentified. Nothing here is anomalous. It is a house.

Daily Mail’s ‘extraordinary journey’ amounts to a flatbed truck and a county permit, not a tractor beam; the 2021 historic listing honours mid-century plastics, not disclosure.

Grade: A for whimsy, F for accuracy. The only unidentified object here is the asking price.
