A PyPI package called ufo-tdkit-report has nothing to do with unidentified craft and everything to do with typeface metadata.
Let’s clear the runway. UFO here stands for Unified Font Object, the open XML-based format designers use to store glyph data; designspace files map how those glyphs interpolate across weights. ufo-tdkit-report 0.5.4 writes commit messages and release notes for that pipeline, based on a deterministic diff of source files.
No craft. No radar. No eyewitness.
The grading is simple: this is a build tool for font engineers, version-bumped on a Tuesday, indexed by a search algorithm that doesn’t know the difference between a glyph and a green light. The only thing hovering above anyone’s desk is a terminal window.
